UTC Residential Tower

Located in the University City section of the city, near UC an Diego, the UTC Residential Tower consists of a 23 story apartment building with three levels of subterranean podium parking. Included in the scope of work during construction were 300 residential units, 497 parking spots, a rooftop sky lounge, dining, a pool and spa, outdoor amenities, and a gym. Residents have access to 24 hour concierge services. This project represents a partnership between Greystar and Westfield Corporation, with Westfield owning the adjacent shopping center, which underwent a sizeable renovation. The UTC Residential Tower project had a construction value of $200 million and was completed in 2019.

Twining served as the Geotechnical Engineer of Record We also provided testing and inspection of concrete, post tension concrete, shotcrete, masonry, welding for shop fabrication and field, fireproofing, roofing, and waterproofing.
