UC Irvine, Irvine Campus Medical Center
The new Irvine Campus Medical Center (ICMC) joins the UCI Health Center for Advanced Care to create a full-service academic health complex to the University’s north campus. Featuring health gardens, nature-scapes, and research preserve, this $1.3 billion ground up hospital and medical complex will support students and the community. It will be home of the Center for Children’s Health, wellness programs, urgent and emergency care, specialty disciplines, research and clinical trials, and lifesaving surgical and acute care. The 350,000-square-foot structure will include 144 patient beds and will consist of 6 floors plus a basement level. An above and below grade parking structure with capacity for 1,400 cars is also planned as part of this project.
