FedEx, Chino

The new FedEx parcel facility is situated just east of the Chino airport. Creating nearly 700 jobs, the 505,000-square-foot facility sits on 74.4 acres of former dairy farm. The new facility includes a gateway building, a maintenance building, and two guardhouses. It also features a $100 million state-of-the-art conveyor system. There are also several green features, including $3.6 million solar panel system and 20 electric charging stations with capacity to power 80 vehicles at a time.

Twining provided materials testing and inspection services during the construction of the facility. This include the testing and inspection of concrete, drilled-in-anchors, as well as field structural steel observation/inspection.
