County of Sacramento, SMF Cargo Apron Expansion

This project will consist of the rehabilitation and expansion of the air cargo parking area north of existing Cargo 1, and the increase of the wide-body aircraft parking capacity at Cargo 1 from one to four aircrafts. It also includes taxiway edge light and guidance sign modifications, drainage improvements, new pavement markings, high mast apron lighting, and geometric revisions to the taxiway connection to Taxiway A to meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Standards and other incidental work.

Twining is providing an inspector to implement Sacramento County’s QA program. Our scope includes inspection and assistance with technical questions and concerns that pertain to quality assurance.
