The $200 million joint federally- and state-funded State Route 58 (SR-58) Kramer Junction Expressway project widened a 7.5-mile portion of SR-58 from a two-lane conventional highway to a four-lane divided expressway in the high desert region of northern San Bernardino County. Twining has held the Annual Overlay and Slurry Seal contract with the City for multiple fiscal years. Twining performs construction materials testing and inspection at various project sites and the batch plant. Our firm performs mix design verification and laboratory testing.

The Taxiway L improvement project will primarily consist of the removal of existing asphalt concrete surfaces, performing necessary excavation and grading, recompacting existing soil, constructing storm drain improvements, installing pavement markings and striping, taxiway edge lighting and signs, runway guard lights and construct new pavement sections: Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavements (P-501) over Cement Treated Base (P-301) on Cement Treated Subgrade (P-156).
