Previously headquartered at the nearby Toyota Center, the Los Angeles Lakers headquarters moved to a new 120,000s square foot, LEED Gold-certified facility that sits on five acres in the City of El Segundo. Construction began in 2015 to provide a player practice facility, as well as office space for the team’s business operations. The project consisted of the construction of a two story, structural steel facility. Twining provided testing and inspection of reinforced concrete foundations, structural steel mezzanine, metal decking, steel studs, reinforced concrete fill, and spray-applied fireproofing.
